Having marked Remembrance Day, it is time to turn our attention to those veterans who suffer mental ill-health. Military veterans are over represented in the criminal justice system. By providing an alternative to custody, we can reduce the likelihood of re-offending and enable veterans to regain their sense of pride and self-worth.
